Pet Travel Pal is accepting a small number of pilot participants traveling from the United States to Albania with a cat or dog. Participants receive free personalized planning, and we receive the candid feedback that makes the service better.
Who is eligible
This is a fit if
- You are traveling from the United States to Albania
- You are traveling with your own cat or dog, on the same trip
- Your departure is far enough out that vet and paperwork timing is still workable
- You can share honest feedback about what helped and what did not
This is not a fit if
- You need a pet moved without you — that is pet shipping, which we do not do
- You are traveling on a route other than the United States to Albania
- You are traveling with an animal other than a cat or dog
- You need veterinary, legal, or immigration advice rather than travel planning
What participants receive
A Pawsonalized Plan
Entry requirements, vet timing, vaccine and microchip rules, airline notes, required forms, and a travel-day checklist for your specific trip.
A dated timeline
Each step placed on a real date working back from your flight, so you can see what is urgent and what can wait.
Human review
A person with firsthand international pet travel experience reads and checks your plan before you receive it.
A private portal
One place for your plan, your uploaded documents, and your messages with us.
Questions answered
Ask as things change, and get a real answer instead of a link dump.
An optional review call
A 30-minute Pawsonalized Plan Review over video or phone, if you want to walk through it together.
What we ask of you
Candid feedback, required
Short check-ins during planning and one conversation after you travel. Tell us what was confusing, what was missing, and what actually helped.
Accurate details
Your plan is only as good as your intake. Dates, microchip numbers, and vaccination records need to be correct and updated when they change.
Testimonials, optional
If the plan helped and you want to say so publicly, we would love it. If you would rather stay private, that is completely fine and changes nothing.
Timeline

Your reviewed Pawsonalized Plan arrives, typically within about a week of intake.

How we handle your information
Your documents are stored privately and are visible only to the reviewer working on your plan.
- We collect only what your plan actually requires
- We never sell your data or share it with third parties for marketing
- Feedback used publicly is anonymized unless you approve otherwise
- You can request deletion of your documents and account at any time
Optional 30-minute Pawsonalized Plan Review
A live walkthrough of your plan with the person who reviewed it.
- Video or phone, scheduled from your portal
- Walk through your timeline and any step that feels unclear
- Bring the questions you would otherwise ask at 2am
- Entirely optional — skipping it does not change your plan
How applications are selected
We read every application ourselves. With only five spots, we prioritize trips where a plan can genuinely change the outcome: departures with enough runway to act on the timeline, a mix of cat and dog travelers, and a range of situations — in cabin and accompanied baggage, first-time and repeat travelers. We reply either way, so you are never left waiting on silence.
